Tidying Up

Now that it is at last a little bit more clement, the Spring Tidy is underway. Carrie is making war on the Vinca by the pond, and we plan to enlarge the pond and make a bog area beside it for the bees to drink. Underneath it we found the Chaenomeles, so I've moved it to the front beside the wall, along with the SQ standard rose which has just gone very leggy in its pot but never flowered. Also cut down the pink rose by the door very hard and gave it good feed and water in the hope it will come back a bit more orderly. Now have a jasmine in a pot by the door, but I think it might well get too cold there, so will move it to the suntrap at the back.
