Lovely sunny day and various frogs out sunbathing. This one sat in the middle of the pond resolutely despite cats tramping past and me wandering back and forth through the garden...........all the others submerged nervously at the sound of feline footfalls but this one is made of sterner stuff. So I thought I'd see how close he would let me get to take his picture. The answer is: till I practically had the phone balanced on his nose. The last one was taken with it about an inch from his face, if I'd leaned in any further I think he'd have grabbed it and taken a selfie........
